A: This one is deep copper colored with a tall dark beige compact head. An aggresively sizzeling sound is heard during the pour. Decent lacings.

S: Lots of sweet dark malts. Dark dried fruits and some faint bitterness. There is an metallic off-smell, like from an Altbier.

T: Sweet. almost like molasses. There is a mild rye-tone. Honey. Dark malts. Dark dried fruits. Grass and faint nettles. Rather refreshing for a Doppelbock.

M: Aftertaste is short and very sweet. Body is medium to full while carbonation is mild.

O: Freshness in a style that is rahter stout (not the style!), nice and interesting. As a Doppelbock, maybe a mild and light one.
