Stunningly beautiful Mystery Bay was previously called Mutton Fish Bay due to its plentiful supply of abalone or mutton fish. This idyllic local beach was renamed after 5 men disappeared there in October 1889 in one of Australia’s most baffling sea mysteries.
A full-bodied, biscuity IPA with clean bitterness and a burst of citrus and pine, thanks to an all-Australian malt and hops line-up.

Purchased at the Dromedary Hotel in Central Tilba in January 2023 and drunk in March 2023.
L: Deep golden caramel yellow with a thin, bright white head. Lots of carbonation visible. The beer looks chewy!
S: Rich caramel malts and fruity, hoppy, pungent darkness.
T: Hoppy, dank, fruity, piney and caramelly. There's the slightest hop heat on the swallow which plays well with the caramel base. This is an outstanding malt-forward IPA.
M: Mouthfeel is moderately full, with mild to moderate carbonation, suiting the beer to a T.
O: This is a really enjoyable, malt-forward beer. At 6.2% the hoppiness makes you take it low and slow, but I could happily drink a couple of these before moving onto something a little more floral to reset the palate. Great beer!
Cheers!
