Malty flavor with a touch of sweetness. Similar to Blackbird's Sunday Brunch, but lighter. Hops are not obvious on the nose, but there is some bitterness in the flavor. Mouth feel is Goldilocks for a Maibock, just right. There is some good stuff going on in this beer with a body that encourages rich food like a burger, sub sandwich, or pizza. And as with all Blackbird beers, buy it when you see it because it won't be around for long.
