Look:
Light clear gold, moderately head retention.
Sniff:
White grapes, champagne, noble hops
Sip:
Clean malt, white sparkling grape juice note, balancing and soft noble hops.
Swish:
Light bodied and nominal. Nice.
Think:
Air quotes, it is too strong and American to be a real Kölsch, It does have the vinous note that is characteristic of the style. Worthy! So call it a "kolsch".
