A guest tap at the Snoqualmie Falls Tap Room. Served in a pint glass.

Appearance is a nut brown color and clear for the most part with a bit of chill haze. Creamy white head.

Smell is faint with a bit of a medicine smell.

Taste has an Octoberfest style malt base with an artificial smoke flavor to it. It tastes like a mix of peat and plastic (bandaids).

Mouthfeel is clean and thin.

The taste is a bit off. It cuts down on the drinkability. I'd pass on this one again.

Trade Route Brewing Company--Pacific, WA--Feuerbier Smoked Ale. 5.60% ABV. 26 IBU's. Mild head. Very smoky front. Odd smoke infused malty toasted amber ale body. Clean end. Too much! (2.0 / 5.0) 5 oz. Taster @ Seattle Fremont Oktoberfest on 9/25/2010.
