A beautiful beer for the end of Summer. New England style IPA with rye, which pairs perfectly with the coconut forward Sabro hops.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a Willi Becher glass. It pours a hazy, lemon yellow color with a luxurious, creamy, bright white cap and thick rings of soapy lacing. It's a very attractive pour. Initially, smell offers tart lemon and floral hops. However, as it warms there are notes of rye cracker and just a whiff of coconut. Its taste is dry and crisp. The rye cracker and lemon peel are complimentary. The Sabro hops add a very subtle coconut that provides balance. Still, it's fundamentally a dry, tart, refreshing ale. The mouth feel is lite and crisp with fairly lively carbonation, and it's sessionable at 5.5% ABV. Overall, this ale is nicely crafted and perfect for hot weather. And as a New Jersey craft beer aficionado, I wish Phil Murphy would sign the damn bill!
