Brewed with Citra, Strata, and Krush hops. We're getting a medley of sweet mango, mixed berry jam, pineapples, and candied orange.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It is a pastel orange color with a full finger cap of bright white foam and abundant soapy lacing inside the glass. The nose is a bit subdued with faint pineapple, tangerine, and a whiff of berry. Its taste opens with sweet citrus, including orange and grapefruit but the initial sweetness is balanced by the dank earthiness of the Strata hops. There is a also a strong, weedy, spiciness and hoppy bitterness throughout. At the finish there is significant hop burn but I expect it will dissipate within a week or so. This ale has a nice, full mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and the 6.8% ABV is no impediment. Overall, while Nympheas is a fine New England IPA that should improve in the weeks after release, it is not an eye-popper, which speaks volumes about how good Auto's NEIPAs can be..
