Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: Tawny reddish copper brew with a semi creamy off white lace that leave rings around the glass.
Smell: Large malty aroma of caramel and toasted grain with a hints of hops on the nose also.
Taste: Smooth and well conditioned sporting a maltly medium body, both caramel and a nutty malt flavour from the carapils hit the tongue. Though as soon as the malt comes the hops show off a marked bitterness to balance. Small addition of wheat gives a little bit of crispness and adds to the drinkablity. Hop flavour and grain linger on and on well past the finish.
Notes: The best American brewed alt I have ever encountered ... hell one of the best ales to be brewed in all on New England to say the least. If you see it buy it ...

The only American brewed Alt example that remotely compares to the "real deal"
