Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: Deep garnet with amber hues, great off white lace to dress the glass.
Smell: Malty aroma though some trace earthy evergreen aromas for the hops are noticed.
Taste: Medium in body, the malt gets tightly drawn to the tongue with fresh baked dark bread flavours in its complex well textured palate. Hops are subtle and show a touch of bitterness with a suggestion of minty evergreen. Malt stays a bit on the sweet side even into the finish with more bready undertones and a touch of herbal grassy hop.
Notes: What a knockout of an Octoberfest Beer! Dornbusch Octoberfest is best domestic beer in its style, in my opinion. Drink and learn.

Perhaps one of the best made American Oktoberfest beers that I have ever had. Very traditional and highly drinkable.
