Barrel Aged Dark East Seas

In Germany, they call it the East Sea but we know it as the Baltic Sea and, from the Baltics, comes a dark and mysterious beer. The Baltic porter is boozy and complex. This batch was aged in an Oak barrel for several months to provide a rustic quality one might imagine would come with shipping beer in barrels across the Baltic Sea all those years ago. Fermented cold by lager yeast with a balance of blended roasted and chocolate malts on top of a light-yet-malty base. Flavors of chocolate, liquorice, dark fruit and alcohol.
