On tap at the brewpub, had quite a few of these!
Pours a clear very dark brownish red, nice thick espresso foam coloured head forms, slowly settles to a thick ring around the glass, some lace sticks. Smell is nice, light and roasty, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, oats, toast, touch of vanilla, very well put together. Taste is similar, nice caramel sweetness, dry toasty middle, roast, some chocolate, light fruit, oats, biscuit, dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low to medium carbonation, very drinkable. A great dry stout, superb session ale. Light but full of flavour.

This is on nitro and it really makes this stout look and taste great. The complexity of body and punch in the midbody make this one of the best stouts on tap in B.C. Very drinkable and well crafted this along with the Belgium Double are excellent signs for this brewpub.
