Couple of large snifters at the brewpub on a Saturday afternoon.
Nice brown with hints of ruby, finger of foam that leaves some rings of lacing. Nice is cherry and tart, light vinegar. Quite a tart version, especially for something produced in Canada. Cherry, light vinegar, light body, pretty straightforward and not that complex, but the tartness is pleasant, light to moderate acidity. Could use a little more funk/complexity, but approachable, drinkable, quite a nice offering.
Definitely try this one if available.

On tap at the Alibi.
A: Copper-brown with an off-white head; thin ring of retention, some lacing.
S: Sour cherries, raisins & brown sugar.
T: A light sourness, raisins, cherry and a nice bready maltiness.
M: Moderate body is smooth with a light acidity.
D: A good drinker for the style.
It might benefit from a little maturation on oak.
