We're going to miss Rosie, who is leaving the country for an incredibly job opportunity somewhere far, far warmer than Ithaca! But, we did name our latest chipotle porter after her: Red Hot Rosie! The Morita Chile is a Chipotle which provides a wonderful balance of spice and smoke. 5 lbs of chiles were de-stemmed, de-seeded, and added at the end of the boil. Paired with a nice earthy hop, chocolate flavors from the Porter, and smoked wheat malt, this beer has a lot of layers.

Too much peppers. The beer is semi hot. The peppers are not there initially but in the after taste the beer his just all pepper heat with little balance.

That being said if you like pepper beers it might be for you.
