On cask at the brewery. Pours a pitch black color with an inch of frothy tan head. Some lacing. The aroma is chocolatey with a good deal of spices. Light vanilla bean notes. The taste is where the vanilla really comes in to play. Vanilla with chocolate and roasted malts in the background. Slightly smokey. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation. Overall, the vanilla bean is a welcomed edition to this one.
