From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with no date that I can see. Sampled on August 19, 2017.

The color of the pour is a sort of purple-amber with a modest of-white head that fades eventually to a ring. No lacing.

I am a fan of raspberries and so the aroma is enticing in that the raspberry characters are big and forward. The white breadiness pales in comparison. I get no real spice or hop presence.

The body is light.

The sour and tart zestiness of the raspberries jump forward in the taste much as they do in the aroma. There is a mild sweetness but the finish is a berry-like fruitiness for only a moment. It does make me pucker up a bit I'll give it that.

Drank on tap, 4/26/17.

Look - cloudy reddish yellow. Fair amount of carbonation, but no head.
Smell - a pleasant aroma of raspberries and honey. No hops detected whatsoever.
Taste - fruity and tart, with a hint of sweetness. The flavors of the raspberries come through first, with a nice strong wheat finish.
Feel - light body, extremely easy to drink. Very refreshing.
Overall - I thought this was a great refreshing Berliner Weissbier that is packed with flavor. Really enjoyed the raspberry flavor. Some might find it a bit too sour, but hey, probably should have expected it when picking this up.

Reddish hue that reminds me of pink grapefruit. Cloudy. Minor head with minimal lace leaving only scattered spots on the glass.

Sour aroma with a very light wheat touch. Notable sweetness as well.

Very much a sour beer in the Berliner Weiss tradition. Thin compared to most beers but it's fairly accurate for this style. Long, subtle aftertaste that's similar to a SweetTart. Lip smacking finish.

On tap at Bukowski's Tavern in Boston.

Pours a nice, murky reddish orange.

Lovely fruity smel, with raspberries and a bit of sweetness.

Very nice and refreshing taste. Creamy and kind of sweet and sour, with a really great raspberry flavor.

Nice body on this one, has the creaminess I love in Berliner Weisses. Well carbonated, very sparkly.

Overall, an easy to drink, refreshing beer, with a bit of hidden depth to it.

On-tap 2/18/2017 at Pizza J’s in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a light pinkish amber color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains light caramelized malts, wheat, raspberries and a faint touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out with a mildly sweet raspberry flavor followed by some tartness. Then a mild breadiness comes in from wheat and a thin malt character. There is very little hops presence as you would expect. The after-taste is slightly tart.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and clean.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are better choices available within the style.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip appears a hazy rose color with a scant amount of bubbles to formulate a head.

Aroma has a pleasant berry sweetness that quickly evolves into the realm of being artificial feeling with an awkward sorta candy addition moreso than a natural berry character.

The taste has sweet cereal grains upfront before the faintest indication of tartness. The fruit flavoring is medicinal and has a clingy waxy, almost plastic film left in my mouth reminiscent of that weird taste left after consuming a sugar substitute, except this isnt that sweet. Its unnatural and honest to god tastes like they brewed a very plain, lifeless wheat ale and then dropped raspberry gummy bears into it...or something artificially raspberry flavored.

Light in body and lightly carbonated. Disappointed, they missed the mark on this one.
