This delightful sour ale showcases bright raspberry fruit flavor with a unique and refreshing beer that strikes a perfect balance between tart and sweet.

Raspberry Soirée is back and better than ever! We’ve upped the fruit this year, bringing more raspberry character into focus, striking a beautiful balance between sweet and tart. Malts: 2-Row, Wheat, Honey; Hops: Glacier; Other: Raspberry Juice & Puree.

Also, the brewery includes the accent, so a minor change in the Name to:

Raspberry Soirée Berliner Style Weisse Ale

Hazy amber with the hue of pink. . Thin, off-white head. Raspberry, wheat malt, and acidity in aroma. Sour taste with moderate sweetness for balance. Raspberry flavor dominates. Decent, summer beer.

Inadvertently (and not entirely properly - dark, yes, temperature, no) aged a bottle of this and was very pleasantly surprised by the results. I'm guessing it was hiding for ~ 3 years, and the result is a much sour-er sour, with a wonderful dry bite, tartness, and vaguely raspberry-like mild funk that has me wishing I'd misplaced the whole six-pack instead of just one!

I can't speak to color, since I drank it straight from the bottle, but the taste and smell are good - gentle raspberry in the scent, see above for the taste. I'm definitely seeing some lacing on the interior of the bottle, and while not very effervescent, it has enough to be enjoyable, not flat/watery.

FWIW, My other taster liked it in the original form - he likes things very sweet and only some sours are acceptable to him. I definitely prefer this version - I don't think i liked it much at all originally.

Pours ruby red with light head. Sour with a nice raspberry finish. Not very carbonated. Adequate.

A: The beer is relatively clear purplish amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that quickly died down, leaving only a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of blueberries and lactobacillus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors that resemble blueberry yogurt. No sourness is detectable.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The blueberry flavors really shined through this beer but it was completely devoid of any sour flavors.

From the bottle, it pours a hazy pinkish amber with a large, lovely white head that lasts a good while. Scent is slightly sour and raspberry like. Taste is definitely tart with a raspberry tinge. Interesting!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Slightly hazy raspberry/maroon pour. Two fingers of fizzy white head. Falls fast with modest lacing.

S: Raspberry juice and mild funk.

T/F: Light raspberry juice... mildly tart but not sour in the least. A little funk.. light grain/wheat. Pretty 1 dimensional... light bodied... almost watery. Finish is more raspberry.

O: Meh... reasonable raspberry flavor but this is more of a 'baby's 1st Berliner Weisse' than a real weisse. Lacking a lot of the flavor/tartness of the style. It's not offensive... but not really worth picking up either.

Bright red, with a hint of orange. Slight white head.

Smells like raspberry wine, but less strong.

The initial, and strongest, flavor is bread dough, followed by bread crust, and light dried raspberry/cranberry flavor. Some lingering tartness and bitterness on the finish.

Light, slightly oily, with fine, moderately prickly carbonation.

Overall, it gives the impression of some sort of raspberry pastry, but without the sweetness, nor with as much tartness as a typical Berliner. Takes a little getting used to, but not bad.

Thought I was going to get a nice sour ale. However this is like someone mixed candy raspberry flavor in and it tastes gross. I like sour beers, but this one came off as odd tasting.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has an unusual, murky bronze color with violet highlights and a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of raspberries, some wheat. Taste is tart, raspberries, wheat, light malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, I'll admit that I'm not a fan of this style, but this one is pretty good.
