A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of oranges, some cream. Taste is the same as the aroma, some grapefruit as well, bitterness is in between mild and moderate. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Hazy amber with short off-white head with scant lacing.
Aroma is orange creamsicle with lime and grapefruit
Flavor is very orangey with accents of grapefruit, pineapple, and limeade sweetness in the finish. Bitterness is medium and mostly mid-palate and a little rough.
Creamy feel, medium-high body with low carbonation.
Better the second can of the variety pack but still not a favorite. A little muddled in the hop department, light in aroma overall, not a cohesive beer.

Sample from the brewery. Deep orangey gold in color with a fluffy cap of off-white foam. A wisp of pine, lime pith, passion fruit custard, orange creamsicle, freshly sliced mango, and some fusel alcohol greet the nose once the beers warms up slightly in a glass. In short, the aromatics are expressive. Soft on the palate and approaching full-bodied, Citrapetal Force balances a tropical fruit cocktail of flavor with a level of bitterness that is not insignificant. It's somewhat hollow at the middle of the sip, however, and fades into a semi-dry, citrusy finish rather quickly. Ithaca seems to be trying to pull the NEIPA pendulum back toward the middle with this offering. More later than loveable.

16 0oz can into chalice. Can't read date.
Look is hazy golden orange. Nose is light tropical fruit with tangerine and papaya. Taste follows nose and stays sweet throughout with orange papaya and tangerine leading the pack. Feel is medium and creamy. Overall a very nice IPA with sweetness that I will look for again.
