-hazy amber-orange can pour with a thin foam cap.
The aroma includes some orange and resin, but is not pleasant.
The flavor is dominated by orange marmalade. There is some pine and resin, but significant bitterness and alcohol heat.
Perhaps a tap pour in Ithaca is better.
I look forward to another trip to the brewery.

A-Orange is color with a white head that quickly dissipated, leaving good train smoke like lacing
S-Earthy spicy notes with mellow stone fruit aromas
M-Medium body with a slightly peppery medium carbonation
T-Herbal and spicy throughout with a sweet start and very mellow bitterness
O-This is a decent IPA, that seems to be searching for an identity and has Belgium style characteristics

Pours a nice Amber with an off white head.
Tropical fruit, floral bouquet, and earthy hops.
A sweet sticky resinous pine rolling to orange and peach finishing with a malty herb bread.

Two of the pint cans in IBC's Spring 2019 Release of the Box of Hops IPA Variety Pack are Mudder Earths. The 2/26/19 Box is handsome, the can is real pretty, the beer poured gently into a Spiegelau IPA glass just fits with a lumpy half-inch head that takes three minutes to settle to a fine mat. Good lacing. Color a turbid SRM 7. Nearly BB-sized fizz bubbles rise constantly through the hazy murk. Can't imagine a prettier IPA.
Smells floral and piney, like a peach balsam tree.
Tastes like northwest imported hops pellets, bitterness adequate but somehow dusty, as if summer-harvested fall-dried and pelletized warehouse hops brewed in late winter had lost their oomph. I ask a lot of my home town brewery, but the hopping here is merely adequate, not inspiring. Malt and yeast tastes are hiding from my hop-loving palate; the ethanol tastes a bit barley-winey.
Mouthfeel is fine: carbonation just right. Hops leaving good long lingering oily bitterness the way I like it.
With such a nifty graphic design, I'd wish a double IPA with this cute name were more memorable, but I can't see that IBC needs to brew this one again.
