Poured from a 16 oz can. It's quite a hazy pale ale with some chunks that have settled out. The aroma is of dank hops. The taste is very hoppy, but not overly bitter. It's got a decent malt backbone and a dank hops flavor. It has a thick and massive body. It's a meal of a beer, very filling. After drinking one beer, I feel very full and sleepy. Definitely not an every day or session ale. I liked it overall, but I don't think I'll buy it again.

Had this after getting through a couple of rough beers from Ithaca at first. Then had a Flower Power and this and it was turning all around.

Anyhoo, pours like a 'normal' beer, yellow in color leaning in towards amber, 3/4" white head. Neat Nelson aroma, wasn't the super danky Nelson, but still Nelson, all the marijuana, passion fruit and hippie body order on it. As usual Nelson leads the way, but the Galaxy and Enigma hops aren't invisible here either. Drop some pineapple on that hippie stank.

Taste is nice, its weird how this is their double ipa, and Flower Power is their flagship ipa, yet higher alcohol (albeit barely). Either way, no alcohol perceptible, nice variety of hop notes giving those fruit notes previously discussed in the aroma section. Good carbonation on it. Not overly malty, its relatively crisp and light, but with a firm non excessive bitterness that keeps it from having too much of a loosy juicy finish.

This beer was almost hard to drink but I managed to get through the full 16 oz can (poured into a tulip pint glass). Possibly suffered from old age and faded hops at about 2 months. Surprisingly sweet and boozy for being just 7% abv. Purchased from the mix-6 section at Wegmans.

Single pint copped from Bottle King in Morris Plains. Pours a golden, effervescent hue with maximum frothing. Ardent aroma replete with notes of citrus and grapefruit. Similar overall flavor profile. Recommended.

Pours a pale yellow with a frothy off white head.

Smells of citrus, pineapple, papaya, mango, honey and floral notes.

Taste is citrus, pineapple, papaya and mango hop around your palate bitter and sweet. It is all hung on a thin honey malt backbone.
