On tap at Ithaca Beer Company in Ithaca, NY.
This one pours a dark orange-ish color, with a small head, and a good bit of lacing.
This smells like Smarties candy, horsey funk, citrus, grassiness, a bit of berry, and white wine. It says that this has passionfruit, plum, and black currant in it - they must have been subtle additions, because they are not very prominent here. It just smells like a a decently high quality hoppy wid ale.
There's maybe a bit of passionfruit and what might be plum skin here on the taste, but there's definitely not really any black currant. There's a nice citrusy and grassy hop character, and a pleasant clovey, wine-like, and definitely barnyard-y funk.
This is light bodied, effervescent, and very drinkable.
This is definitely one of the better Ithaca beers that I've had in a while now. It takes me back to a time when they made these sorts of beer very well.

Poured into a quart size mug. Pours orange with a 3 inch thick, foamy meringue like head. Cloudy, suspended particles.
Aroma is funky, horse blanket, brett.
Taste follows nose: Funky, horse blanket, brettanomyces.
Medium bodied, heavy carbonation. Dry, sour finish. Funky aftertaste.
Wow, horse blanket! This is a classic farmhouse ale. If you don't like sour beers, stay away from this one.

SRM 3-4 (opalescent pale gold). A big, three inch, fine white head slowly settles, leaving a dense coating of lace on a PBGC Crispy Boi glass. Lots of large, rapidly rising carbonation can be seen even after yeast is added to cloud the beer.
The aroma is sweet and fruity with light funkiness. Grapes and white wine are offset by faint citrus.
The flavor is surprisingly astringent. Light acidity as well as light, sour tartness are balanced by sweet bitterness. Pinesap and citrus give way to a long, dry finish composed of apricots and honey. Warmth reveals peppery spice.
Alcohol is as expected. This is generally dry and astringent with a metallic and slightly chalky mouthfeel. Body is medium with a scratchy nylon texture.
While this is a fine beer, I would expect much more finesse from an anniversary offering.
