Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw gold, slight hazy with floating sediment (how old is this?), head is 2 fingers thick and off white to light tan in color with pillow soft texture and fine bubbles. Head lingers really well with nice lacing.
Smell is mixed hops and biscuity malt; hops are herbal, floral, light citrus, malt is general biscuit with light sweetness/caramel.
Taste is similar with blended hops and biscuit, hops are herbal, floral, citrus, and earthiness, malt is light biscuit and a touch of caramel.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a softer/sweeter IPA from Ithaca, I think mine may have been past its prime but I liked the malty character/flavor/aroma.

An excellent "Double" IPA; though not terribly high on the ABV scale. Looking forward to having this one in the summer, with this brew's surprising "brightness" and serious grapefruit and citrus overtones.

-pale orange can pour with a slight haze and a 1 cm cap of white foam.
The aroma is light with pine notes.
The most prominent flavor is pine resin with orange zest behind. The hop flavors are more woody and earthy than fruity. The hop bitterness is moderate.
The mouthfeel is appropriate for the style.
