I drank this into a tasting glass at NoTB.
The beer is a medium brown with some great red highlights that is pretty clear. The head is light white rising only a couple fingers. It has decent retention and lacing.
The aroma is medium in strength and mostly dominated by the Brute, lots of funk. At the end you get just a whisp of Tobasco.
The taste starts out like a good sour, can't wait to have Brute tomorrow. It is sour and balanced and very nice. Just as you start to think this isn't hot you got bombared with an unreal amount of hot spicyness. The delayed reaction is so long it really surprises you. The tobasco stays for several seconds after you swallow tickling your throat all the way down. It is too hot and spicy for me but I love the attempt, the balance and the shock that it brings.
The feel is warm and dry and has great lasting flavor.
This beer is a great gimicky beer to try but not drinkable. You could not finish a 12oz bottle alone.
Overall, I'm really pleased here. This is one of the only beers to really step outside the box and besides it not being highly drinkable its a great experience.
