Not sure of the dating. Let sit out for 10 minutes before opening.
Slightly hazy deep gold, with 2+ fingers of off-white head.
Smells is dank, resinous pine, with a hint of candied orange - i.e. the familiar aroma of old-school DIPAs. [I like that. :) ]
Taste is orange peel, pine, grass, similar to the aroma, but with the proportions reversed, and much milder. Light bitterness.
Feel is light, initially creamy, with very, very fine, sharp bite at finish. Slight drying after finish.
Overall, it's better than most "session" IPAs, but after the enticing opening aroma, the lack of flavor intensity is a bit disappointing . That said, it would be enjoyable on a hot summer day, especially as a counterpoint to spicy food.
