On tap at Night of the Funk. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a dark brown color with a short, but lasting, off-white head. A bit of spotty lacing and a thin cap as it goes down. The nose brings forward some light woody notes to go along with a sour cherry brightness. Roast lingers in the background. The taste combines a nice sharp roast with a acidic cherry character. A bit of the cherry pits, which plays nicely in there. Good carbonation and a dry, moderately-acidic finish. Ithaca always brings it as these festivals, and they were one of the best at this one.
