I had a twelve ounce glass of this at the Amsterdam Ale House on Manhattan's Upper West Side. I found this to be a very unique and interesting combination of ingredients/flavors and it did deliver.
Appearance is like a typical porter, very dark. A little red around the edges. Not much carbonation.
The aroma was a great combination of the roasty porter with the barnyardy Brett yeast. Very, very interesting.
Flavor as well was a great combination of those two. It's rare that you find a beer with Brett but no sourness. I like those a lot and this was a great example of the specific flavor and aroma that Brett contributes.
I see this beer is not listed on BA so it must be very new. Try it if you can find it. It's great.
