Observations after two twelve ounce cans were entirely emptied into a clear glass liter mug. There's almost no off-white head produced, even though the cans were at cellar temperature. The brew is darkly apricot-amber in color. It's dull and hazy. There's plenty of aroma, which began with the cracking open of the first can. That has the tropical fruit references of the standard modern American IPA. As for taste, it's not bad. It's not remarkable, but the sweet grain hit up front, with a nicely bittered hop finish is always appreciated by true IPA lovers and some hop heads in general, at least the latter for the latter. There's a nice mouthfeel for the style, within a style that is known for providing it. There's some substance to the body, without it becoming too heavy, nor viscous. What's somewhat odd, considering the supple body, there's no glass lacing. This isn't going to make this very local brewery a destination, nor a must have for beer traders. But, it's a nice way to compliment a meal or satisfy a beer thirst.
