This collaboration with Margie's Meatloaf Mecca was very briefly on tap during Ohio Brew Week at Tony's Tavern Athens, Ohio, but now we’ve got Margie’s Strawberry Milk Stout in bottles for a very limited release. This big and sweet Willett bourbon barrel aged beer was racked onto vanilla and heaps of strawberries for a Neapolitan like flavor profile. Does not contain any lactose, so it’s safe for our intolerant friends.

From the 16.9 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This excellent imperial pours a dark black with brown highlights and a
modest head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring. Nose of strawberry,
cream, bourbon, and dark chocolate. Flavors follow the nose with mellow
bourbon, strawberry, cream, rich brulee, moderate char, deep roast, light
oak, and dark chocolate with some coffee notes in there as well. Mouth feel
is full, smooth, warming, light carbonation, and a sweet yet nicely balanced
finish.
Overall a SOLID offering from a new to me brewery!
Cheers

16.9 ounce bottle, think this was released over the past couple months. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around a little while. There's a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like strawberries, vanilla, roasted malt, dark chocolate and some bourbon. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some oak and dark bready flavors. Nice balance between the sweet and roasty flavors, but does lean sweeter tasting as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth trying if you get the chance!
