Disarm Hazy IPA

L - very pale yellow, somewhat hazy, with a white head that dissipates quickly, leaving some lacing behind
S - some tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, orange. Some floral hops
T - tropical fruit - mango, pineapple, orange. Some floral hops - not too bitter. Some sweetness from the lactose.
F - medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Someone soft from the lactose
O - it's alright. I can see they tried to mimic a hazy IPA and it kind of does, but just not a great version of it. Kind of surprised this one gets a lot of awards

 

 

 

A: hazy; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; no lacing;

S: sour milkish citrus;

T: not much flavor; the sour character is gone; what's there is dull citrus; mild bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; no hop burn;

O: not bad, but not something I would buy again;
