I found a 1.0l bottle of this in a markt in Gunzenhausen, then later enjoyed it in my Rothenburg Gasthaus while packing to head back home, on my last night of this trip - 26SEP06.
Poured a clear, solid copper color, with a short, off-white/light tan head, which faded quickly to a thin layer, mostly around the rim. Lacing was decent. Aroma has light caramel and a touch of toast, with mild floral hops present. This bier was about medium body-wise, though it was a bit too foamy/bubbly on the tongue for my liking. Flavor was lightly malty, almost crackery, with an easy-going caramel aspect coming forth. Pretty simplistic a bier, not being layered with flavor depth at all. Basically some light malt sweetness and caramel segueing into a mildly floral finish. Decent but middle of the pack.
Prosit!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
