16 oz can into a snifter.
L: Pours hazy medium yellow gold color with lush steady carbo, a large 1.5" off white soapy head that recedes slowly to heavy rocky froth, loose medium-light complex lacing.
S: A distant fruit note, light caramelization, hard candy sugar.
T: Citrus, a touch of melon rind, confection sugar, distant stone fruit, wheat, a touch of oats, light citrus zest, background sweet grains, a hint of pastry dough. It is pale with a slightly bitter finish that lingers.
F: Slightly brisk, lightly lively and semi-juicy medium bodied mouthfeel with a medium length moderately dry finish.
O: Printed on the can label is Pale Ale. That's it. This is very much a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Lively, a good dose of wheat, yeast, and fruit tastes. It has a fairly full-flavored dense taste and would compliment some foods. It is very good in its style.
