Bottle at share. Hazy light golden pour. Mild tartness presents itself in the aroma, gets stronger in the taste. Mellow tartness, apples. Pretty tasty.

Pours a lightly hazy, bright golden orange color with sunshine yellow edges and a one finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Decent retention lasting most of the way through. Sporadic spotty lacing left behind.
Sweet, slightly musty aroma with a complex hop profile and prominent wine barrel notes well integrated into the farmhouse character of the base beer. Sweet vinous fruits, light grape and raisin, buttery Chardonnay and oak tannins. Delicately charred oak stave with white wine complimented by juicy tropical fruit notes of mango, orange peel and grapefruit. Delicate earthy funk with light hints of grass, straw and hay. Peppery spice with ginger and coriander followed by bready yeast, malted wheat, light fruit and citrus. Saison notes are somewhat overpowered but there's some nice tropical sweetness and an inviting barrel presence.
Fuller bodied and more complex than expected with dry oak, sweet white wine and juicy tropical sweetness along with earthy resins, musty farmhouse character and delicate peppery spice. Extremely well balanced, finishing crisp and clean making this beer deceptively crushable. Some charred oak with very faint toothpick/oak stave but not overly dry or bitter. Nice vinous fruit/white wine flavor with sweet Riesling and buttery Chardonnay character. Grape skins, light berries and melon countered by ruby red grapefruit, candied lemon peel, mango and fleshy orange slices. Again, the funk and saison notes are overpowered but they show up stronger than in the nose. Delicate musty funk, earthy barnyard, hay and straw complimented by dank resins and grassy pine. Light, almost herbal, peppery spice with ginger, coriander and white pepper. Really crisp a refreshing. Another very nice BA saison from F&M. Could use more funk/saison character but it's pretty complex, well bakanced and extremely crushable.

Pour is bright gold, hint of haze, tons of tight white head with great retention. Nose is really bright tropical fruit with light hints of dusty brett. Flavor is again super bright, so much tropical fruit, feel is oily, light body, moderate carb, faint brett.

The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is impressively complex in this beer, as I pick up light clove, vanilla, lemon, light funk, coriander, light honey and underlying spice. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, but with the lemon sour component dominating. However, there's a hint of sweetness in this beer, and it helps to counter the sour and keep it from getting out of hand. The finish is crisp, clean, dry and lightly bitter. Considering the relatively low abv., this beer really delivers a LOT of flavor, and the beer finishes well on the palate.
This is just delightful, and reminds me very much of the Upright special herbs release (though I think this might be the better beer). Very easy to drink, and just delicious.
Thanks Derek!

Forest and Main continues to impress. Great crisp beer. Funk, fruit, mango, orange it's all there. Really easy to drink. Will buy more the next time it releases.
