A beautiful hazy pale straw color with a one finger head. The head is creamy and frothy with great retention. The head left lots of lacing on the glass. The beer is super cloudy, but I can see some carbonation bubble dancing within.
The beer presents with yeasty floral, and citrus notes as I take the first whiffs. A light toasted malt, with biscuit, subtle sweetness. earthy and a grassy note.
The beer is not as potent as a WCIPA, but it does have its flavor. The beer is citrus, floral, fruity esters, yeasty, lightly toasted malt, biscuity, and a subtle grassy note.
The beer has a medium light body, medium carbonation, medium light astringency, and a medium finish.
To me this beer barely passes as APA, The malt backbone in the beer is there and is sturdy enough to support a bigger hop profile. I taste more of the malt in the beer than the hops. I am not sure if this could be called a NEIPA. I am a little let down, but it still is a pretty tasty beer to sip.
