Matte black with a creamy finger of chocolate milk-colored head that leaves a nice cap and sloppy lacing.
Sweet dark malts in the nose: chocolate, cinnamon, molasses, cookie dough.
Lighter tasting, but still very flavorful. Milk, chocolate, sweetened coffee, cookie dough.
Medium bodied and lightly creamy. Low carbonation, as expected on cask.
Not my favorite low-ABV stout from these guys, but still pretty remarkable. I’m down to try every mild and stout they have on cask.
