750ml capped bottle into a Founder's snifter. Shared by schen9303.
Big, fluffy head with excellent retention. Thick, rich lace that sticks around. Slightly hazy dark goldenrod hue. Nose is peppercorn, flower petals, lemon zest, and an oaky, yeastiness. MOderately aromatic. Beer opens tart lemon zest, acidity, and vinegar. Peppercorn spiciness in the middle with subtle hints of hay, straw, and stonefruit. Slightly puckering end with peach pit and a bit of soapiness. Tart and spicy aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and sparkling on the palate and goes down aggressive with a long, lingering aftertaste.
Very solid. A pretty sparkling example of the style.
