Drank on Cask handpump at the brewery , then a pack of 16 oz cans
Very dark brown, ruby highlights when held up to the light. Cream colored head. Aroma of roasty coffee and black tea, tobacco. Similar taste, with a dry finish. Big depth of flavor for a small beer. Medium bodied, not too thin. Overall very good.

Dark chestnut brown in color with reddish hues and very good clarity. Poured with a tall, frothy, soapy, beige foam that settled into a thick creamy cap with excellent retention. Sweet, dark malt and toasted malt aromas with light earthy notes. No hop aromas. Light bodied with medium, soft carbonation and a pillowy smooth feel. Grainy and dark malts followed by toasted malt and medium earthy bitterness. Grainy malt flavors return on the back end with persistent earthy hop bitterness to the end. Finished dryly with light bitterness and earthy grain flavors. Beautiful chestnut brown color and a fantastic feel. Malty aromas and flavors are balanced by the medium hop bitterness. Great dry finish. Lots of malt character and very drinkable with the low abv. Fantastic
