A bitter for our birthday, brewed with lots of characterful malt from our pals at Deer Creek Malthouse, and hopped with Goldings and Wolf.

16 oz can purchased at the brewery's New Space and enjoyed on the porch next door.
Deep gold to light amber with a small white head. The aroma really pops out of the glass (plastic cup). Light apple fruitiness in the aroma with moderate biscuit malt.
Ample bitterness in the aroma and flavor with a massive underlying earthiness. Fruity and earthy. Prickly feel to it, finishes dry. Medium-light bodied.
Refreshing yet complex. A beautiful beer from F&M. Paired perfectly with a gigantic cheddar and chive scone.
