16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single from a local bar/bottle shop for $5.25. No canned on date; says on Instragram that it was released on July 14, so that means that this is being consumed at almost 5 months old.

Look: Quite pale. It's a pale straw color with the faintest haze. There's a thin layer of whitish head sticking around. The look of this beer changed dramatically after pouring the rest of the can in the glass. It went from a pale straw almost clear color to a moderately hazy orange gold color. Looks a lot like yellow grapefruit juice. The head retention increased also - the beer has about a half-finger of frothy, eggshell colored head.

Smell: Tons of grapefruit up front along with unmistakable honeydew melon note on the finish. I am picking up some other fruit flavor as well, perhaps papaya. It's pungent and a bit chalky, with some resinous and dank qualities. Some green bell pepper and peppery notes on the finish after swirling the glass. Especially given that this beer is almost five months old, it has a very nice aroma.

Taste: This is a bold-flavored IPA. It is heavily hopped, as evidenced by the strong bitterness. Up front, it has a bit of sweetness, creaminess, and nice juicy citrus flavors. The finish is aggressively bitter and very earthy with lots of grapefruit pith and seeds and watermelon rind. Subtle coconut flavor coming through and lingering on the finish after the intense bitterness has dissipated.

Feel: Medium bodied. It has a nice creaminess and a soft, fluffy mouthfeel. The high hoppiness creates a bit of an oily, chewy feeling.

Overall: This is pretty solid. I am probably getting a pretty different experience had I been consuming this beer fresh. Regardless, it is still very good.

From Instagram:
A heavily oated IPA brewed with barley, oat malt, and flaked oats. Heavily hopped in the spinner and the dry hopper with lots of Idaho 7, Strata, and Sabro. ⁣

Notes of wild tropical orchards, cold and soft pineapple, aromatic geraniums, grilled pears, messed up danish, and all kinds of citrus juice.⁣
