Brightly amber and as nearly crystal clear as the typical American Adjunct Lager it displayed after being decanted into a clear glass liter mug. Emptying the entire contents of the pint can produced a generous white head that mostly seems enduring. There's a mild aroma of malt, followed by some even milder hoppiness. By smell, this isn't particularly enticing. It's modestly more flavorful to taste, a little more malty sweet than hoppy bitter. Neither is pronounced enough to merit description to any beer drinker that can discern the taste differences between malt and hops. There's enough malt to provide a pleasant mouthfeel, without it becoming too sweet. But, there's not enough to create much glass lacing, just a little stickiness. This is a style meant to be easy drinking, a session beer. But, at best, that's all it is. Nothing about it is remarkable, memorable, nor to be recommended, although it is slightly better than many commercial American Lagers.

16oz can into a small glass. No freshness dating.
Hazy pale amber body, strong foamy white head, streaks of lacing. Muted aroma, hints of lemon. On tasting, malty, slightly floral and that mild lemon note. Finish is very clean, slightly drying.
Overall, very nice pale mild. Not sure it counts as English, as it's brewed with 100% Munich malt, but, we have enough styles already.

Pours an effervescent amber with a thumb+ of tight cream-colored head. Good head retention & lacing
S: Fruity, jammy, you can really smell the Munich malt once this beer is warmed up
T: Bready, a touch of toffee, dry with some woody hops up front. Biscuitty malt breaks through as this beer warms up, pretty dry, some fig & cherry notes, a little bit of leafy hops as well, some tea-like hop notes as well. Dry flinty finish with tea-like & some woody hop notes
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, nice balance
This is spot-on for the style, pretty drinkable to be sure. This would be in the rotation if I lived near the source

Canned on: ????
Many thx to The_Kriek_Freak for this can!
A - Dark copper gold color with dense frothjy, cream colored rocky foam hanging on top, carbonation is steady and moderate.
S - Toasted caramel malt with a little bit of cereal grain up front and dominant on the nose with a tiny bit of earthy floral.
T - Follows the nose but with more intensity. Big toasted caramel malt base sweetness up front nips the tongue then morphs into a pleasing floral bitterness for the finish to scrub the malt sweetness away for a well balanced finish. After the bitterness subsides, there's an ever so slight bit of sweet malt residue.
M - Solid medium body with gentle carbonation.
O - Not a style I normally drink but this is very well done and something I would definitely pursue in the future. Recommended.

Toasty, floral, and very slightly fruity on the nose. Caramel, toffee, very light leather, honeycomb.
Just as with the nose, delivers tons of flavor in a clean, crisp, neat 4% ABV package. Tasting notes are very similar to the nose: quite toasty, moderately bitter, a bit of dark fruit.

This is a phenomenal Mild and one of the best made by Forest and Main. Incredible body and bitter flavor for a 4% beer. Floral aroma and creamy head compliment this piece of art.
