The Mask of Everything - 7% West Coast IPA. More like best coast IPA, this one is great! We brewed this with high quality German Pilsner malt and hopped it with tons of Mosaic, Cascade, and Columbus. It has all the right notes: orange and grapefruit breakfast treatments, a young and sappy Douglas Fir, blueberry compote, pear-like fermentation flavors, and when the orchard stand at the farmers’ market is also selling baked goods.

A pale yellow and mostly hazy body with a medium dense white head. Nose is a bit catty and dank, with accents of citrus and unripe tropical notes. Taste is a crackery opening upon which a more grassy hop profile starts to dance. Grapefruit pith and then pine avoid the cattiness I expected, though just a speck of onion pierces the back end. Given I am the first review, this beer might be pretty fresh (the can is undated), but at whatever age it is, it's pretty darn tasty.
