Dry Hopped Moeder Seizoen - 6.5% Foeder Saison. We took a portion of Moeder Seizoen out of the foeder, and conditioned it on some Motueka and Saaz. There’s some really wild biotransformation that happens when mature funky barrel aged beer sits on fruity dry hops. The dry hop is giving notes of aromatic geranium, rose, and floral lime/citrus, layered on top of that big ripe peach/apricot note of the base Moeder Seizoen, with a fruity and funky dry tartness, and lots of good vibes.

Bright gold, ample foam, spotty lacing.

Aromas of sour citrus, orange and lemon, eucalyptus, lime zest.

Flavors of passionfruit, lemon lime, calamansi, eucalyptus, apricot, oak. Dry hop lends a complex layer of tropical fruitiness with minimal bitterness. Slightly tannic from the barrel, spritzy with a moderate sourness.

Overall, it’s well rounded and unique, a really enjoyable twist on F&M’s wild saison.
