Oatmeal Stout - 5.2%
This lovely dark brew was made with malted barley, lots of malted oats, medium crystal, chocolate malt, roasted barley, and black patent malt.
It has perfect oatmeal stout vibes, with notes of Black Forest Cake, toasted barley, baked apples, a vision of black liquorice, jumbo raisins, a vanilla bean, and Phish show parking lots in the late 90’s.

On cask at the brewery, in nonic glass
Black in color, thick layer of creamy colored head. Aroma of dark cocoa, a touch of earthy hops. Similar taste, super smooth mouthfeel with a fuller body.

From an undated can (a gift from the owner of my local beer retailer) into a weizen glass.
Pours very, very dark reddish brown, essentially opaque. Maybe half a finger of tan lacing that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.
Getting some coffee, dark baker's chocolate, vanilla and roasted grain notes on the the nose.
Taste is similar, maybe a bit sweeter than the nose would indicate but very enjoyable.
Medium to full-bodied with low carbonation. This beer drinks a little heavier than the abv would indicate.
They nailed another one at F&M. Delightful beer to drink.
