750ml bottle into a FW Teku glass. 9/5/13 bottling date.
Pours a dark copper color with a mild white head. The smell is extremely hoppy and the centennial hops are what im getting the most of. The taste is impressive....hops are definitely present and dominate, but im also picking up a good amount of floral notes as well as piney notes too. Reminiscent of pliney. I'm really a fan of centennial hops so anything with them in it im always loving. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A good "sticky" feel to this beer (hence the name, hah.)
Overall not quite as good as the original sticky hands, but damn near close. Great IPA.

Appearance- Pours up almost three fingers' worth of head. The head is very fluffy and is a pure cotton white while the body is a medium amber which appears pale to medium amber in the light. Fair enough retention. Lacing is basically a blanket.
Nose- Pretty much what you would expect from Centennial hops. Lots of citrus- orange, lemon, and grapefruit. Lots of floral character. Something that tends to a berry quality but nothing that I would specifically call blueberry. A little subtle but still inviting. More berry notes arise after some swirling.
Taste- Tons of citrus which moves into honey and caramel, some matchstick (from pine and resin), lots of grapefruit. Some earwax, some spicy green fruit. Much more mellow and more balanced than Damn the Blends. I really need to try the regular Sticky Hands in order to properly judge the additions to the original canvas. Very accessible for a DIPA. Slight bit of thinness but it's still a good to very good beer. Solid. I like this better than Damn the Blends for sure. I read this was released about a month ago- and while the hops are round and tasty, they don't exactly pop. I enjoy it much more for its integration and balance rather than its presences. Not a hophead's IPA, this more my kind of IPA. Some slight peach and melon on the linger as it begins to open up.
Mouthfeel- A little more than light bodied with a hint of syrup. Slight smoothness and creaminess. Good level of carbonation.
Drinkability- Very accessible, quite easygoing. No heat. 5 bucks a pint seems quite reasonable.
Overall- Solid, worth a try. Wish I had had it fresher. Almost a really good beer. This is a series I will continue to try.
