Thanks to Chris F. for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy bone head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, Belgian yeast, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with Belgian yeast and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable but is much more focused on Belgian yeast qualities than any hops.
Serving type: growler.
