16oz can poured into a Samuel Smith imperial pint glass
Dig the can art- a hoppy spin on the classic cookie label
p- slightly hazy gold/orange w/ a small white cap
n- med nose of gritty earthiness, tropical hops, melon and some unidentifiable notes; pineapple-like spicy sweetness as well
t- dry herbal hops, pineapple, lemon, and citrus peel, carried by semi-sweet biscuity malt; some spice; doesn't quite come together for me, unfortunately
mf- med-bodied w/ med carb
o- found this one to be underwhelming (which surprised me); not sure if it's an 'off' palate day for me or what, but was expecting better/different

The name says it all as this is a real beer desert. Those who are not big beer drinkers will find this a low hop bite beer delicious and should be well received by any craft beer drinker. I like it very much and recommend it. You will enjoy this brew that is an easy mellow delight that shows a brook plumb and kiwi semi blend. I recommend.

16oz tallboy can purchased at Huckleberry's, near my old digs on the lower South Hill, for $3.99. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can, this was canned on March 19, 2025.
Poured into a 16oz glass, this was a hazy, nearly opaque yellowish shade of amber, with a big, fluffy, off-white head that took it's time dropping and left lots of lace on the sides of my glass.
Hoppy aroma reminiscent of tropical fruits.
Big, tropical fruit jooce flavor. Slight, pithy bitterness midway through, with a soft, mild finish. Goes down real easy.
Medium bodied, with a soft, creamy mouth feel.
Decent hazy. Nothing revelatory but very easy drinking.

Grunt fill from Growler Guys Bend. Hazy orange golden with small bubbly head, streaky lacing. Aroma is orange juice and hops. Very juicy, but not overly done, not all the way into the NE style. Crisp hops bite towards the back. Really nicely done.

16 oz can
Pours three big fingers of white head into my Willi. Retention is very nice and after a few minutes there is still a sturdy finger of head. Lacing is thick. Body is cloudy. Overall it looks really good.
Nose has a nice blend of citrus rind, softer tropical fruits like mango/papaya, and a very subtle dank spice. Leans a little far towards the citrus rind, but the other aromas help balance. Smells pretty nice.
Definitely get some of those soft tropical fruits on the flavor, mandarin orange is noticeable, heavy citrus rind. Hoppy spice comes in almost immediately, somewhat herbal too. All in all this is a good flavor, the spice is nice, but it’s somewhat expected. Citrus rind is a little much at times, but it settles down before too long.
Carbonation is medium - low. Body is medium, smooth. Some sugars accompany the fruit, but they are balanced by the medium bitterness, and the citrus. Overall the mouthfeel does a decent job of being pillowy but also having some spice and grit.
Drinkability is ok, the sugars slow me down a little bit.
Overall this is a nice beer.

Pours nearly clear amber with a hint of orange color, and plenty of fine-grained white foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Sudsy and sprity makes for a lively and enjoyabe mouthfeel. Aroma of citrus, peach, and papaya. Warm and malty, starting out like a DIPA, but some restraint lets the hops wash over the sweet malt. Hugely fruity with that big orange taste. Sweet aftertaste with more papaya.
Whatever the hops are here, it makes for a luscious combination. One of the better IPAs I've had this year. It seems to strike the right balance but it's the delicious aromatic flavors, if that makes sense, that impress. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Stamped PKGD 08/18/21 on the bottom.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has faint hues of amber along with a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass after it died down.
S: Moderate aromas of tangerine citrus are present in the nose along with notes of pineapple and hints of pine.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of tangerines along with notes of herbal hops and hints of pineapples and pine in the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found that the taste of this IPA has an interesting combination of citrus, herbs, pine and tropical fruits.

Look: Murky light orange with a nice head that pillows on top leaving good lacing
Aroma: Mango, peach, tropical fruits, melon, blueberries, sweet bready notes abound, some dank, and some fir needles
Taste: Follows nose but much more pronounced – also the fir tips/orange notes are very prominent here compared to the nose. Great sweet malt notes keep things balanced and finishes with a nice (but light) bite as well
Mouthfeel: Resinous, almost chewy but not taxing on the palate. Very soft too, medium carbonation, and a lightly dry finish
Overall: This is delicious stuff. Awesome fruit notes on both the nose and taste, very balanced with a solid malt profile, and enough bite to keep my palate on its toes. I love most hoppy offerings from these folks and this one is no exception. I need more of this. Tasty and recommended! I just saw oats listed on the can description as being used and no wonder now that the mouthfeel was so soft and silky

Looks like a fresh batch has been released! The date code is impossible to read for sure, but seems to be 8/14 /20. Since it's the 20th of Aug, it's fresh. Dominant odor of tropical fruit mixed with a dank earthiness. Light haze, smallish head. Smooth and mild despite the hop edge. The oats are coming through with that bit of stickiness and sweetness they bring to table. We've seen this earlier this summer with another NWIPA with a dose of oats. Pleasant finish. I'd recommend picking up a pack if you see it. Just right for a late suumer's evening on the deck.

Pours a golden slightly opaque yellow into a frosty glass from a can, lots of head. Smell is of pine and pineapple. Mouthfeel is malty and delicious slightly biscuit finish (cookie?). The frontend taste is fruity and the middle is a bit pine resin. It's delicious with a hint of dank, great can art and unique.
