Considering that B15 IPA's/DIPA's tend to be pretty tropical fruit forward anyway, the decision to make a yellow papaya version struck me as a bit odd. I found this beer to very similar to the standard sticky hands DIPA, albeit with a touch more tropical fruit, and a touch less alcohol. Otherwise, as expected, both on the nose and palate I get considerable tropical fruit (mango and papaya and pear seemed to dominate), but with a goodly dose of onion, light citrus and pepper as well. The finish is fairly dry and quite bitter, with the alcohol very well integrated into the flavor profile.
Nice beer for sure, and about what you would expect from yet another sticky hands variant or off spring.
