This IPA pours a dark golden, opaque color with a thick, well retaining head. Smell is very hoppy with notes of spruce and sweet fruits.
I’m pleased with the flavor of this brew. It’s a nice combination of soft malts, fresh spruce and notes of peaches. The spruce gives it a bold, crisp, piney flavor.
Mouthfeel is smooth and crisp with some stickiness from the hops. Bitterness is moderate, there is a bit of astringency.
I’m pleasantly surprised with this one, would recommend. Overall this is a pretty good beer with a solid hop profile.
