The DAB Lab series focuses on hop-forward ales brewed with a lively blend of hop extractions and varietals. Inspired by dank and tropical flavors, this Pineapple Skunk edition was brewed with sticky, resinous hop additions and fermented with a characterful yeast strain on hundreds of pounds of vibrant pineapple

Wow! This beer is fantastic! The pineapple flavor is pretty lost on me, but the shunk is SUPER present! Awesome in every way!

Pineapple Skunk looks like melted butter with some whipped egg whites on top.

I'm not getting much pineapple. Maybe some Pineapple Express!
Ooooooohhhh... I get it.

Yup. Dank as F. Capital F, I remind you. Weed, juice, maybe a little bread and yogurt.

This is smooth, and nice and weedy. Good amount of bitterness.

I like it. Might have another. Cheers.

Growler from Imperial Bottleshop.

A hazy light yellow with a dense, white head with great retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose smells like a big, fat joint. Seriously dank and skunk-like with plenty of skunky skunk and some pineapple. A mild dough note is present. The palate opens mildly bitter with a noticeable skunk note, with the dankness coating the palate. Pineapple notes play second fiddle to the skunk notes here. Mildly herbal with some weed present. Drying, mildly bitter on the finish, this beer is quite excellent.
