Taster at brewery. Clear golden pour, small airy head. Light grainy notes in the nose Taste adds some hops to the mix, soapy, floral, bitter. Approachable.

Clear gold with two plus fingers of white head. Rings of lace form as the head drops.
Smell is lightly dank hops with good bready malt.
Taste is dank green hop oil with a strong malt backing.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is close to balanced and mildly dry.
Overall a tasty if unremarkable AIPA. Canned on 05/02. No year???

Promised citrus and jungle fruit...not so much. From the can it had some malty notes and piney front and finish. A bit of an alcohol left in the mouth and couldn't get any of what others are tasting?

"Reclaiming Clarity in the American IPA" Yipeee! And about time. We are personally getting very tired of the trend for brewers attempting to produce the best tasting beer while also making it as un-appetizing looking as possible. This one is as clear as a well done lager, with the taste profile of an APA -IPA ALE. Aroma is piney with hints of biscuits. Taste is, as we said, squarely in the center and representative of Block15's brewing chops. Moderate finish, well, balanced.

Canned 02 May, purchased at Market of Choice.

A clear orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is bright and bitter, with a blend of mandarin, tangelo, pineapple along with some peach and mango. The palate opens with a nice blend of juice and bitterness, with strong pine and mild grapefruit pith bitterness pairing with mango, peach and tangelo. A mild, vaguely doughy grainy sweetness that's the hallmark of Block 15, is present here. Drying, bitter on the finish with a lingering pine and peach flavor, this beer is quite excellent.

This bright polished brass body is absolutely beautiful. It's perfectly clear. It's capped with a fothy white head with moderate lacing. And it looks like I want to drink it forever.

The aromas are surprisingly subtle, coming from these IPA pros. Seriously digging here, and just coming up with traces of weed, sweet onion, a little honeydew, and a hint of pine.

Oh, but f-yeah this is my kind of flavor. It promises mango, pineapple, and tangelo, but I'm getting onion, sticky icky, more onion, garlic, citrus, did I say onion (?), and pine.

The feel is nearly perfectly. Light, snappy, crisp, easy, bitter, somehow even bright. A beer that is easily drinkable. Perhaps dangerously so.

I love it. And what a great message. Cheers.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates to a thick film with good lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and a hint of pine. Flavor is caramel malt, orange, mango, passion fruit, kiwi and a little dankness. Finishes with mild bitterness and nice residual mixed tropical fruit. Nice medium body with moderate creaminess and good mouth feel. Well, they delivered on what they promised and the result is a pleasant fruity, low bitterness IPA? of the NE style. I'm still not down with low bitterness in this style and to a certain degree, for my palate and eye, this is the lesser of both worlds. I really like the looks of the turbid hazy IPAs, but am not enamored of soft, friendly bitterness. To the credit of this brewery, the flavors and fine body of this won me over and I enjoyed the full 16 oz. can of this. I like that they reproduced the flavors of the hazy ales with this very transparent amber IPA, impressive. The name is pretty awesome too.

Not sure what they're trying to do here conceptually but this beer is essentially proof there really is something to hazy IPA.

This is just a mild IPA, nothing real distinguishing about it except it's smooothness. Heavier body than I'd prefer. Looks dead in the glass with low carbonation.

B15 does great work generally with hop bombs, this one is a rare airball that makes you crave a great hazy beer or at least a more aggressive NW IPA.
