16 oz. can. Clear golden. Smells of strong grassy hops and light doughy malts. Tastes briefly fruity, but aggressive grassy hops, some earthy hops, and a chewy bready malt take over. Aggressively bitter, but the malt profile is enough to stand up to it. Medium light. No idea what qualifies something as an Italian pilsner, but this is good.

awesome stuff, both hyper modern and very much old world authentic, i love this. gorgeous pour, high thick seriously almost nitro snow white head, golden glow, pretty lacing, sparkling carbonation, just looks dialed. this pils malt i have seen before, but this is probably the best showcase of its uniqueness i have known, partially because the beer isnt over hopped, or rather the hops dont start so soon, so there is an early phase of this where this special malt stands out. a little more bready, enriched feeling, less crackery, more earthy, slightly toasted, a little brassy, compared to standard european pils malt, either belgian or german, more to it, more structure, more terroir it seems, definitely a unique mineral profile, and this beer sets it up well, simplicity is key here, this seems pure in aroma and flavor, minimal in a good way. the hops are spicy, tea-like, with hints of dried orange peel, verbena, and even tomato vine, quite distinct and definitely bringing some bitterness to the already dry and crisp finish. surprisingly minimalon the yeast side, familiar and close to neutral to me, but i dont wish for more. there is some body here which soft of highlights, and is a light of, the malt, and the effervescence on this keeps it light and refreshing and so easy drinking. real clean, very professional, these guys do everything well!

16oz can (date mostly unreadable, I think it says 6/18) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a bright, clean clear light gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
The aroma was light base grains, with some grassy hops. There was a slight touch of citrus as well.
On the tongue, it was pretty similar, with the citrus from the hops a bit brighter.
The body was light, crisp, clean, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer, for sure.
Overall, a nice example of this new "style". Worth a shot if you see it.

Pours a very clear pale gold..fantastic big frothy white head.
Nice fruity/grassy hop notes on the nose. Lemon sherbet, candied orange slices..some raspberry jam..very nice indeed for a lager.
Taste similar..but a bit more hops in the end..Great.
Great smooth mouth feel..goes across the mouth and down the throat before you know it.
Very good lager..Italian style..
