their staple ipa with the diver on the can, a touch older tasting to me, but i did not catch the date, still, an awesome hop profile in a robust but drinkable example of the style, not hazy but more unfiltered looking to me, bright in tone, deeper than yellow, approaching brassy, with an orange tint and a wispy white head, pretty in the glass with all the bubbles coming up and more refined looking than some of their other hoppy beers i had in the same session. this is good without being particularly distinctive, and thats okay, its good to stand out for quality sometimes to, and if this was super fresh, i am confident it would. hints of mango juice in the nose, more of a familiar mosaic type pineapple profile in the taste with some supporting pine and bitterness, not generic, but not radical either, not sure what hops they actually use, but i would guess mosaic is in the mix. the grain is just enough to balance the bitterness, and has more color than taste, is never sweet, and isnt heavy, although this has the right amount of structure for all the hop flavor, and there is textural balance as well as flavor balance, i like that. high carbonation is awesome, a kiss of peach from the hops as it warms, subtle green grassiness too, opens a lot with temperature. overall a really nice ipa, classic and delicious, not as striking on the palate as some they do, but checks all the boxes, especially and most importantly the quality box! must get this fresher next time!

Pretty classic WC IPA. Medium caramel brown body, one and half finger white head. Resinous and leafy, citrus and grapefruit, moderate caramel backbone, mild-moderate herbal bitterness on the backend. Medium lighter in body.

16oz can served in a nonic glass. PKGD on 06/15/20.
Look- Fairly hazy darker amber color. Solid off-white head with great retention and ample lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, orange and light lemon), tropical fruit (mango and pineapple), light dank melon, caramel malt, moderate pine and grassy/herbal notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma. Citrus, pineapple and over-ripe melon, sweet malt and pine, moderate lingering hoppy bitter finish. Pretty nicely balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied, sticky, dryish side and fairly crisp. Medium carbonation on the tongue.
O- A nice old school west coast style IPA but Sticky Hands is far superior in my opinion. Worth checking out though.

Look: Opaque, rich orange – almost amber. Big head forms before pulling back leaving solid lacing
Aroma: Tropical fruit, orange, melon, bready malt in the background, some dank and pine as well
Taste: Follows nose but more pronounced – orange/melon hit first with the tropical fruit and dank following closely behind, then leading to maltiness and pine notes as the closers. Solid bite, no booze heat and medium dryness on the finish
Mouthfeel: Silky smooth overall, good carbonation (medium), a little slick as well but not overdone
Overall: I’m digging this one. One of my favorite hoppy brewers and glad to have this in their year-round lineup as I can pretty consistently find their stuff very fresh. If you like tasty WCIPA’s that showcase some newer hop varietals, add this one to your list. A winner

Ah so simply named!
16 oz can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR
$3.79
This brewer has had literally dozens of IPAs..but none called B15 IPA until now!
Looks like the traditional American IPA in the glass..orange body creamy/rocky white head.
Aroma, mainly zesty citrus with floral hops tones..nice and easy.
Taste similar to the aroma..oranges, lemon and floral hops..really well balanced yet still hop forward.
Really nice mouth feel..moves very easily across the tongue.
Not the best B15 IPA but perfectly acceptable fare.
