Our modern-day pale ale was created with an array of five specially selected NW hops. Notes of Papaya, tangerine and orchard fruits pop on your palate with a smooth delivery of malt body and a crisp finish.

BLOCK 15 BREWERY – JOY HAZY IPA
This is a brew with a wonderful taste of pineapple rind, peach skin and green grape skins. The more you drink a taste of water melon rind shows itself. I would recommend this beer.

16oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, golden color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled of orange, pineapple, caramel and some pine. Sweet caramel and toffee with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.

16oz can from Tavour. Very pale straw colored pour, hazy, one finger fluffy white head. Light aroma of bread and citrus. Taste continues with soft citrusy flavors and light pale malts. So gentle on the palate. Faint citrus zest at the finish.

Thin, white head. White and quite cloudy, yellow/gold appearance. Distinct pine and a little grapefruit/lemon peel, in behind, for the aroma. A combined pine and grapefruit peel flavor, with a very light malt base, for the flavor. The body is light, with a tang to it.

Just a slight haze on the amber brew with plenty of foam in the Stella goblet. Nicely spritzy on the tongue. Aroma of lime peel, green melon, and unripe apricot. Pleasant lemony taste with a light bready base. Warm touch of malt and a faintly bitter, astringent note in the aftertaste.

Quite a tasty lighter brew with plenty of aromatic hops. Highly quaffable and one of my favorites from Block 15 so far. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

of all the hop forward beers we cracked in a recent session of their stuff, this was easily my favorite, a wonderful and extremely unique pale ale, modern but also kind of timeless, really interesting proportions, a memorable hop profile, and all the drinkability one could desire in the style, i was stoked on this! this is hazy and pale yellow, but not thick and not all bogged down by sediment. the high carbonation yields an inch of airy white head, and this is light and lively to consume, as the can sort of visually suggest. i wish i know what the hops were here, very unique to me, it has to include some southern hemisphere types, its like the herbal side of galaxy but without the lime element i usually get from it, its soft like citra but less samey, has a melon element like el dorado but none of the greenness that often comes with it during dry hopping. whatever is in here smells and tastes amazing and stays away from any harshness at all. subtle coconut and vanilla to it too, but the beer isnt sweet. white grapefruit and clementine as it warms up, each sip kind of pops in a new way, picking up where the previous one left off, i love that. the malt is wheaty to me, fluffy feeling, dry by the end, and light and round on the palate, especially with all the bubbles. the finish is quick and the ferment clean, but i get a little lemongrass, peach fuzz, and green grape lingering at the end. i love the flavor of the hops here, and overall this beer is well designed and executed, something i look forward to drinking again!

Firsties !! Canned on 12/21, so only 12 days old. Pours a light straw color, hazy and a light head. Nose is a light citrus and slight fruitiness. We pick up an unpleasant astringency on the tongue; something we've not seen from this quality brewery. It overtakes the malty base promised on the can and stays with you..

Too bad, seems like a good one for a warm summer afternoon.
